Job Description

Wipro is looking for a skilled AI/ML Engineer with hands-on experience in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Generative AI, to drive innovation across various use cases. This role involves building, deploying, and optimizing scalable AI systems in real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, and fine-tune computer vision and machine learning models
• Leverage frameworks like Caffe, Torch, TensorFlow
• Work closely with solution teams and customers for prototyping & discovery workshops
• Shape product strategy for contextualized applied ML/AI
• Design and integrate image/video recognition systems
• Lead or assist in recruitment and training of new AI/ML team members
• Contribute to the AI community through research, speaking, and publishing

Technical Skills Required

• Programming: Java, C++, Python
• Deep Learning: TensorFlow, Caffe, Torch
• Computer Vision: OpenCV, Clarifai, Google Cloud Vision
• ML Techniques:
  • Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs)
  • Object detection & classification
  • Supervised & Unsupervised Learning
  • SVM, Random Forest, Deep Learning, Collaborative Filtering
• Big Data Platforms: Hadoop, Spark, HBase, Hive
• Data Visualization: Tableau
• Cloud Platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure, IBM Cloud
• Optional: Kafka, Embedded Vision Systems

Domains & Nice to Have

• Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• Text mining, classification, recommendation systems
• Research publications in conferences like NIPS, ICML, ACL, CVPR

Education

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Equivalent practical experience is accepted
