About the Role

Are you passionate about data science, machine learning, and solving business challenges using AI? As an AI Engineer Consultant, you will work on cross-industry projects involving NLP, deep learning, recommendation engines, and predictive analytics. You’ll collaborate with large clients and internal experts to deliver tailored AI solutions in domains like life sciences, banking, insurance, media, and the public sector.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves solving complex problems and wants to grow in a people-first, innovation-driven company.

Responsibilities

• Propose, design, and develop advanced AI models (classification, regression, NLP, clustering, time-series forecasting, etc.)
• Support multiple clients across industries on AI/ML consulting projects
• Source, clean, and transform data using SQL, APIs, web scraping, and more
• Develop and apply ML techniques using Python and/or R
• Integrate your models into client environments and ensure business impact
• Communicate insights clearly and align solutions with business objectives
• Leverage data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) where relevant
• Participate in cloud-based ML projects (Azure, GCP, etc.)
• Work with Generative AI tools and frameworks when applicable
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• Master’s or PhD in Math, Stats, CS, Engineering, Physics, or related
• 2–5 years of experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning
• Proficiency in Python or R, with strong programming fundamentals
• Strong grasp of supervised/unsupervised learning and modeling techniques
• Experience in SQL and data preprocessing workflows
• Familiarity with NLP, time-series, anomaly detection, or predictive maintenance
• Cloud experience (Azure, GCP) is a strong plus
• Hands-on exposure to Generative AI or related tools is a plus
• Experience in one or more domains: Banking, Marketing, Life Sciences, etc.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Able to translate technical models into business value (explainable AI)

Bonus Skills

• Experience with Enterprise Intelligence: Data Warehousing, BI, Big Data ecosystems
• Good coding practices, code refactoring
• Exposure to MLOps and model deployment
• Data visualization (Power BI, Tableau)
