About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on AI/ML Engineer to lead the development, deployment, and performance tuning of machine learning and generative AI models across post-trade processing and operational domains. You’ll work directly with stakeholders to bring AI from ideation to production, applying state-of-the-art techniques in LLMs, deep learning, and AI automation to deliver impact at scale.
Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of AI model development—from R&D to production deployment
- Deliver high-performing solutions using ML, GenAI, and LLMs aligned with business needs
- Ensure quality control and model evaluation using frameworks like MLflow
- Lead research into new generative AI methodologies and stay current with the field
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to integrate AI across systems
- Engage stakeholders to identify use cases and drive AI adoption
- Implement AI solutions that meet regulatory and compliance standards
- Support strategic AI goals and contribute to long-term technical vision
Engineering Best Practices
- Champion Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD workflows for rapid and reliable delivery
- Apply BDD/TDD, unit testing, and secure coding practices
- Perform code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and performance checks
- Promote infrastructure as code, automated testing, and continuous monitoring
- Foster a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement
Key Qualifications
- Strong, hands-on experience in machine learning and generative AI, with real-world production delivery
- Familiarity with post-trade financial systems and AI automation in capital markets
- Deep expertise in frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Langchain, Hugging Face Transformers
- Proficient in Python development, with OOP and best practices
- Skilled in ML evaluation frameworks (e.g., MLflow), Spacy, Pandas
- Experience with Docker, Dockerfiles; knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus
- Exposure to PostgreSQL and Vector DBs (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, etc.)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
